Matt and Melissa own a successful electrical business and saw a need to expand their business into placing and splicing fiber optic cable for its ever-expanding customer base. Madiston PowerTel, Inc. stands out from their competition through having skilled craftsman, impeccable performance, and offering competitive pricing.  Madiston PowerTel, Inc. focuses on personalized service through its knowledgeable and certified staff who provide quality and rapid services.

Madiston PowerTel, Inc. is a family owned and ran business operated by Matt and Melissa Allen (husband and wife) since 2007. Matt and Melissa took over the business from Matt’s father, Mike Allen, establishing Allen’s Electrical Service, LLC.

familypicMatt grew up in the electrical field riding to jobs in his car seat while he eventually got big enough to start helping on the jobs.  Matt started gaining knowledge from his father early on giving him experience in many aspects of the electrical field.  Matt and Melissa both went into the corporate world after graduating Tech School figuring out after a few years that wasn’t their true calling.  In 2007 Matt took on the challenge of running his dad’s electrical company, shortly after bringing his wife Melissa on to manage the office and growth.  Melissa went to school for business admin and continued to grow with the business.  We always had big goals for the company and knew its potential.  It began like so many small businesses, with lots of ambition, know-how, and willingness to do whatever it takes to make it happen.  Allen’s Electrical Service grew, and we became a well-known and respected electrical contractor in the Middle TN area.  Matt and Melissa decided to expand the business to include servicing and splicing fiber optic cable for subcontractors, small businesses, cooperatives, and for-profit organizations. We strive to be the company who can assist its customers from the beginning to the end of a project.

We take pride in standing out from our competition through having skilled craftsman, impeccable performance, and offering competitive pricing. Two notable competitive advantages we have is the longstanding relationship with the community, since 1980, and a strong reputation for quality and expertise.  In 2019, Matt and Melissa created Madiston PowerTel, Inc. Where Allen’s Electrical Service and AES Fiber currently reside. General Contractors have sought after Madiston PowerTel, Inc. for this reason.

Allen’s Electrical Service currently services commercial, residential, and industrial customers.  We specialize in troubleshooting wiring problems, making repairs in private residencies, business, and factories. Electrical design and installation services for custom homes consist of large and complex residential projects many requiring multi-year scheduling for completion, design changes, whole house generators, lighting control systems, boat dock wiring, custom lighting design and 200-1200-amp electrical services.

Since the very beginning we have been involved in the construction of some of the most prestigious custom homes in our surrounding counties.  Our loyal customers include many of Murfreesboro’s premiere home builders.  We are known for our level of customer service that is often hard to find in construction.

Our employees provide that same level of customer service and electrical know-how to residential and commercial customers.
